I recently posted the following question on my Facebook page: "Out of curiosity... who of you suffers from allergies? Seasonal or food... either way." I received several PMs and comments including:
How Many People Have Food Allergies?
But I Can I Help...
The reason I asked is because I got trained this year in Dr. Tenpenny's SRT (Sensitivity Removal Technique) that not only saves money on allergy assessment and treatment, but time too. Many other allergy tests merely diagnose you but do nothing for treatment. Others add treatment to the mix but it requires dozens of appointments and thousands of dollars. My colleague, Paula Vetter, a Registered Nurse with over 30 years experience, trained me after providing me with my own assessment and treatment. I'm amazed.
There are only a handful of people in the Western US offering this Sensitivity Removal Technique (SRT), which a 5-year clinical study showed 86% of people still 100% allergy free after their initial treatment. Results are likely greater than 5 years had the study been longer.
SRT uses three well-known medical sciences that best work with the energetic systems of the body: kinesiology, homeopathy, and acupressure.
Kinesiology (muscle testing) is used to determine which allergen(s) you are sensitive to. Homeopathy is used to represent the allergens in testing viles, as well as the Traditional Chinese Medical balancing viles. While you're holding the allergen(s), a series of acupressure points along the spine are activated to open channels in the central nervous system. This begins what can be related to as "reprogramming your computer" which teaches your body to look at these allergens in a neutral way, rather than as a threat (allergy). Several additional points are activated on the arms and legs to open up the meridian lines through the body. You will then be given 15 minutes to rest quietly as the final part of the treatment.
Your first appointment is one hour and includes the allergy assessment. Subsequent appointments are 30 minutes and include the actual treatment. In order to best respect your time and finances, viles in each allergen type (ie. food, pollen, environmental, etc) are grouped together and treated at one time. This greatly reduces the number of visits you'll need for treatment (avg. 2 to 4) as compared to methods like NAET with treatments pushing the double and triple digits.
After your treatment, you will be asked to maintain a strict avoidance of the allergen(s) treated as well as food/beverages (except water) for 3 hours so make sure you eat before the treatment appointment.
The process is totally painless and super simple but EXTREMELY powerful and proven effective. After the completion of SRT, you are encouraged to have an annual checkup to keep your acupressure systems clear of allergens and symptoms, and to be sure no new allergens are starting to accumulate in your body.

"I am here for support, guidance, education and as an example of what works for ME. What works for me may work for you or at least provide you with a starting point from which to explore. I am discovering what works for me at every moment. I don’t have it all figured out, but I do feel I have a teaching and healing nature with which I am here to share. In this blog, I offer you a view into my practice of being that which makes my experience - MINE."
Certified Holistic Health and Nutrition Practitioner, Stephanie Austin, was guided into holistic living in 2002 when she was diagnosed with Dermatomyositis, an uncommon autoimmune disease affecting the skin and muscle.
Opting for education rather than medication, Austin enrolled in a Holistic Health Practitioner program in 2004 after realizing she'd been gifted with disease so that she may learn to heal herself and later teach others to do the same.
Since her education, Austin has released over 60 pounds and conquered years of junk food addiction through holistic healing and nutrition techniques that she now passes onto others through her business, Wellness by Mother Nature.
Austin has been the Director of Education and Board Member for the nonprofit organization, The Wellness Kitchen. She is the recipient of the 2015 Outstanding Graduate Award from www.ACHS.edu.
Austin is an author, coach and speaker who empowers people on the healing value of nutrition and the innate self-healing abilities of a body in balance.
She has helped hundreds of people achieve balance through methods such as meditation, herbs, movement, supplements, aromatherapy, homeopathy, nutrition, mind-body connection, energy healing and by closely listening to the needs of her clients.
It is awareness that brings change, not your effort. Why does it happen through awareness? - because the awareness changes you. And when you are different, the world is different. It is not a question of creating a different world, it is only a question of creating a different you. You are your world; so if you change, the world changes.
