If there is one step you take to 1) avoid the return of cancer or 2) help to prevent growth of cancer, it would be to stop eating/drinking dairy. The protein in milk is proven 100% in all trials to initiate as well as reactivate cancer cells. In trials, rats were given the most toxic of carcinogens then fed either 5% protein or 20% protein. Regardless how much carcinogen administered, cancer grew when the rats were fed 20% animal protein from cow's milk and the progression stopped once they reduced the protein intake to 5%. So, even under high exposure to the aflatoxin, the most toxic of carcinogens, rats fed 5% protein had no activation of cancer cells and once fed the amount of protein commonly ingested in the Standard American Diet, cancer cells were reactivated.
